About The Author

Felice Soru

Felice Soru is an author whose life has been shaped by travel, cultural crossroads, and the quiet determination to follow unexpected paths. Born and raised in Sardinia, he grew up surrounded by the island’s rugged beauty and deep traditions—an environment that sparked both curiosity and a longing to see the world beyond its shores.

That journey began in 1971 with a summer job at a seaside hotel, an experience that opened the door to independence and set the tone for a life defined by exploration. After graduating as a technical engineer and completing further studies in England, Felice accepted an invitation that would change everything: a move to the Seychelles. He arrived just as the country was undergoing a coup d’état, stepping into a world of political upheaval and rapid transformation. What was meant to be a brief adventure became seven formative years of work, discovery, and witnessing a nation reshape itself under an increasingly authoritarian regime.

Felice later settled in England, where he founded Sardatur Holidays, a specialist tour operator that became a leading name in travel to Italy and Sardinia for more than four decades. His career allowed him to stay connected to the spirit of exploration that had always guided him.

Since retiring in 2019, Felice has turned his focus to writing. His books—ranging from romance and fantasy to memoir and travel narrative—draw deeply from his experiences across continents and cultures. Whether recounting true events or weaving fiction inspired by them, his work reflects a life lived at the intersection of history, identity, and the enduring pull of home.

Felice now lives in Surrey, where he continues to write and reflect on the extraordinary journey that carried him from a Sardinian village to the Indian Ocean and beyond.
